Privacy policy
How Svolta Group Pty Ltd collects, holds, uses, and discloses personal information, and how to access it, correct it, or complain.
Last updated: 9 August 2026
The short version
We collect the contact and company details you give us through our contact form, when you book a consultation, pay for a service, or email us. We also use Vercel Web Analytics to understand pageviews and selected website events, and keep inbound campaign parameters in session storage so they can accompany an enquiry. We use this information to respond, run consultations and engagements, invoice you, and administer relevant communications. We do not sell personal information or run advertising pixels on this site.
Depending on how you interact with us, personal information may be handled by Vercel (hosting and Web Analytics), Attio (CRM), Cal.com (scheduling), Stripe (payments), and Google Workspace (email and meetings). Their processing locations and terms may vary.
You can ask us at any time to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email support@svoltagroup.com. If you think we have mishandled your information, complain to us first; if you are not satisfied with our response, you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). The full detail is below.
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Svolta Group Pty Ltd (ABN 29 693 393 592) (“Svolta”, “we”, “us”) is an AI consulting and engineering company based in Queensland, Australia. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
This policy covers personal information we handle when you use svoltagroup.com, enquire about or buy our services, supply to us, or apply to work with us.
It does not cover data inside the AI systems we build and operate for clients. During an engagement we process that data as a service provider under the engagement contract and data processing agreement, and our client’s own privacy policy governs it. Our security and governance page describes how engagement data is handled, including our standing sub-processor list.
2. Personal information we collect
Depending on how you deal with us, we collect and hold:
- Contact and company details: your name, email address, phone number, company name, team size, website, and which service you are interested in, when you submit our contact form or book a consultation.
- Booking details: appointment times, timezone, and meeting metadata when you schedule a call.
- Payment details: billing name, email, and subscription status for paid services. Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe’s own hosted pages; we never see or store your card number.
- Correspondence: emails, form messages, and notes from calls and meetings, which may include a transcript or AI-generated summary of a consultation.
- Website usage and attribution: pageviews and selected custom events collected through Vercel Web Analytics, plus campaign parameters, click identifiers, landing page, and referring site retained in browser session storage and attached to an enquiry when submitted.
- Job application details: CV, work history, and contact details if you apply for a role.
We do not ask for sensitive information (such as health information, or racial, political, or religious details) and ask that you do not send it to us.
3. How we collect it
- Directly from you: through the contact form, the booking calendar, email, phone, and video calls. Consultations run over Google Meet and may be transcribed by an AI notetaker; we tell you at the start of a call if one is running, and you can ask us to turn it off.
- Automatically: our hosting provider may keep standard request logs for security and operations. Vercel Web Analytics collects pageview information and selected custom events. Campaign parameters on inbound links are stored in your browser’s session storage, normally cleared when the tab or session ends, and attached to your enquiry if you submit a form.
- From third parties: occasionally from publicly available sources such as your company website or LinkedIn profile, to prepare for a consultation you have booked.
4. Why we collect, use, and disclose it
We collect, hold, use, and disclose personal information to:
- respond to your enquiries and schedule consultations
- scope, deliver, and support engagements
- invoice and administer subscriptions and payments
- send service and administrative messages
- tell you about services we think are relevant to you (you can opt out at any time; see section 8)
- understand which of our marketing brings people to us, so we spend on what works
- keep our website and systems secure
- meet our legal and accounting obligations.
5. Who we disclose it to
We disclose personal information to the service providers that run our business:
- Vercel: website hosting and Web Analytics
- Attio: customer relationship management
- Cal.com: consultation scheduling
- Stripe: payment processing
- Google Workspace: email, documents, and video calls
We may also disclose personal information to our professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, insurers), and to courts, regulators, or law enforcement where the law requires it. If we ever sell or restructure the business, personal information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
6. Overseas disclosure
The providers above may process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other locations described in their current service terms. By dealing with us, you should expect overseas processing where those services are used. We take reasonable steps required by applicable Australian privacy law when disclosing personal information overseas.
7. Cookies, analytics, and tracking
This site uses Vercel Web Analytics for pageviews and selected custom events. It also keeps campaign parameters in browser session storage and attaches them to an enquiry if you submit a form. We do not currently run advertising pixels. Vercel and the embedded services named below may process technical information under their own terms.
Embedded third-party services (including the Cal.com scheduler and Stripe’s checkout) may set their own cookies when you use them; their privacy policies apply to those.
If we materially change our analytics or advertising use, we will update this policy.
8. Direct marketing
We may email you about our services if you have enquired with us or are a client. Every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe link, and we comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). You can opt out at any time by using that link or emailing support@svoltagroup.com. Opting out of marketing does not stop service or billing messages.
9. How we hold and secure it
Personal information is held in the systems of the providers listed in section 5. We limit internal access according to business need and rely on the controls available in the selected services. No internet service is perfectly secure. Our security and data page explains how engagement-specific controls are scoped.
10. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in section 4 or as the law requires. When we no longer need it, we delete or de-identify it where practicable. You can ask us to delete your CRM details, subject to legal, contractual, dispute, security, and records obligations.
11. Access and correction
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete. Email support@svoltagroup.com. We will verify your identity, respond within 30 days, and not charge you for the request. If we refuse access or correction (which the Privacy Act permits only in limited cases), we will tell you why in writing and how to complain.
12. Automated decisions and AI
We build AI systems for a living, but we do not use your personal information to make automated decisions that could reasonably be expected to significantly affect your rights or interests. A human reads your enquiry, scopes your engagement, and makes the calls. AI tools we use internally (such as call transcription and drafting) operate under human review. If this ever changes, we will describe the decisions, and the personal information they use, in this policy first.
13. Data breaches
If a data breach involving your personal information is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, and tell you what happened and what we are doing about it.
14. Complaints
If you think we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, email support@svoltagroup.com with the details. We will acknowledge your complaint within 7 days, investigate, and give you a written response within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC): oaic.gov.au, phone 1300 363 992, or GPO Box 5218, Sydney NSW 2001.
15. Dealing with us anonymously
You can browse this site without identifying yourself. You can also make general enquiries pseudonymously if you prefer, though we cannot book a consultation or deliver services without real contact details.
16. If you are outside Australia
We serve clients in Australia and the United States. If the privacy law of your location gives you additional rights (such as rights to deletion, portability, or objection under the GDPR (EEA/UK) or US state privacy laws), contact us at support@svoltagroup.com and we will honour them where they apply.
17. Changes to this policy
We review this policy regularly and post updates on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be flagged prominently.
